You have to make sure to attain the proper velocity for each jump but you should never forget about inertia which is another important factor to consider. There should not be too much or too little inertia, but just enough to land safely on a platform as any brush with a nearby spike or circular saw is a certain death. There is no wall-jumping in Run Rabbit Run - good news for players who find it annoying! Instead, there is another challenge which is managing inter-jump velocity in order to land on a platform mid-air. This adds another skill level to the game and a fresh jumping mechanic that you are sure to enjoy. A thrilling gameplay is complemented with stylish and tasteful artwork. This game ruined my day. But it was enjoyable and fun to play for $1.40. The concept is good, but I feel like this game tries to be a bit too much like Super Meat Boy. Hell, it could even be a reskin, with less gameplay options (Such as sliding, double jumps and such.). Delay on the jump is a bit awkward as well. If you played Super Meat Boy, you know what to expect here. There's a bit of a learning curve that will have you staring at the screen, timing the individual saw blades. After that you're constantly dashing around, and the A\/D side-scrolling controls make that easy enough. That is until you find yourself met by the game's sense of inertia, with the rabbit under your control being constantly turned to mince meat.There is also a great sense of accomplishment once you beat a level, after nearly 100 deaths! With plenty of carrots to collect along the way.Pros:Short intro that lets you play right away!Great soundtrack.Addictive levels.Cons:You yell randomly at your screen.
